10/12/2020, @ NYFF58 Virtual Cinema. Venting 75 mins straight. “You’re overwhelmed by the feeling that there’s always one person too many on this planet and that person is you.” “And when I look into the camera, there might be eternity on the other side or just nothing.” (奇怪，我前一天也刚好写下十分类似的话。)

形式新颖，不乏惊艳。一部电影一个人坐在各种各样的lobby，全程间离的方式和你（观众）聊天、告诉你一些关于死亡的人生经验，偶尔无趣、偶尔深刻，只言片语间透露着有启发性的哲思。可能是为了避免枯燥，谈及“在场”与“不在场”、电影内外、时间长河的先后（“我需要喝咖啡，但对你已是过去”）很能形成主角和观众的互动效果，实体影院和线上影院的观影感受注定“不可互相语”，这也是这部电影最有趣的地方。

花这么多时间看如此没意义的电影的意义在于什么？永恒的谜题。
